What is the difference between surrealism and absurdism? Would it be correct to call Belgium surreal and the Netherlands absurd?
-Belgium is The Capital of Surrealism . Eddie Wally reigns supreme there. The Netherlands is merely partially absurd . This can be blamed directly on two people: Kees van Kooten and Wim de Bie.
What is your opinion on the Netherlands? Why not?
-Any place that gave the world Adriaen Coorte and the broodje haring has a special place in my heart
How would you define British humour? Why not?
-British Humour ? I am probably the least qualified person to answer this. I think it has something to do with the invention of cricket , the bowler hat and the teacake.
Which new artists do you admire?
-New artists I like are Christian Marclay , Jeremy Deller and Paolo Uccello.
If you would have been a novelist what would have been the title of your first book?
-The title of my first novel would be TOFU WALK WITH ME
